On April 5th 2024, The London Welsh Male Voice Choir will be leading a charity concert aimed at raising much needed resources for Lizzie's Fund/ The Brain Tumour Charity. Lizzie's Fund was established by Lizzie Bramall, a remarkably brave girl who was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour called a DIPG in February 2018 and died in the October of that year. Over the past six years, family and friends have followed Lizzie's example and Lizzies Fund has now raised over £600,000 for research into childhood brain tumours.

Lizzie’s Fund is currently funding a project into the most deadly forms of gliomas that affect children and young adults, looking for ways to use drugs to stop tumour growth.  This is an international project, the UK base is led at The Institute of Cancer Research in London .

This promises to be an excellent musical experience as the London Male Voice Choir will be supported by Chorus Iceni, a  female a capella choir that recently finished eighth in the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers National Convention. The concert will take place in the Mercury Theatre, a 500 plus seat venue which has recently been fully refurbished and should provide an excellent venue for the audience to enjoy some amazing sounds.
